Logistic Assistant


Knowlton Technologies is seeking a Logistic Assistant to support the coordination of the logistical functions for products coming into and going out of the mill. Works closely with Supply Chain for the life cycle of a product, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, and final disposal of resources.

Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment. Studies shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other records to determine shipping priorities, and shipping methods required to meet shipping and receiving schedules, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.

Works closely with manufacturing, customer service, sales, and accounting to optimize the shipment of products to our customers. Works closely with customer service, purchasing, and sales to optimize the shipment of raw materials to our facility.

Knowlton Technologies is seeking a qualified Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer to Assist the Quality Assurance Lab Manager in providing all Knowlton Technologies employees with the process improvement tools, training and support needed to achieve a Lean Value Stream. Support Lean Six Sigma Projects to continuously improve the Lean Value Stream. Assist in maintaining and improving the Knowlton Technologies ISO / IATF 16949 Quality Management System. Serve as backup to the Quality Assurance Lab Manager and the Quality Assurance Specialist in their absence.
